Tutkimuksen aiheena on ympäristötekijöiden käyttö kodintekniikkaa myyvien yritysten mainonnassa Helsingin Itäkeskuksen alueella. Staying inside : social withdrawal of the young, Finnish ‘Hikikomori’

This article explores socially withdrawn young Finnish people on an Internet forum who identify with the Japanese hikikomori phenomenon. We aim to overcome the dualism between sociology and psychology found in earlier research by referring to Pierre Bourdieu, who provides insights into how individual choices are constructed in accordance with wider social settings. We focus on the individual level and everyday choices, but we suggest that psychological factors (anxiety, depression) can be seen as properties of social relations rather than as individual states of mind, as young adults have unequal access to valued resources. The main purpose of this interpretation is to search for the theoretical structure of a prepared research tool, initially called the Teen Violence Scale Toward Parents (TVSTP). We investigate the behavior of zeros of solutions to the certain type of third order nonlinear differential equations. We show that the behavior of zeros may be rather different and depend on the nature of nonlinearity in the equation. Main results in the paper are illustrated with a number of examples.

In the Ouled Abdoun sedimentary basin (Morocco), the phosphatic series is composed of regular interbedded phosphatic and marly limestone layers. Exploitation of the phosphate in some deposits in this basin collides frequently with problems bound to the existence, in the phosphatic series, of disturbed areas (sterile bodies) qualified as derangements by the mining engineers of the Office Cherifian Phosphate Group (OCP). The aim of this paper was to analyze how cultural identification, perceived discrimination and the sense of community are related to life satisfaction among foreign partners in intercultural families. The study compared 105 and 95 foreign partners in mixed families resident in Italy and Spain, respectively. The phenomenon in both countries displays similar sociodemographic aspects.
